I can control pretty much everything on the Variax using Helix wether I'm using presets or snapshots...still cant get snapshots to turn Variax off/on though...anyone know how,or if its possible?...it should be! silverhead Posted March 1, 2017 Share Posted March 1, 2017 Not sure exactly what you mean by turning the Variax on/off. By 'on' do you mean the modelling, and by 'off' do you mean using the mag pickups instead of a model (assuming you have a JTV or Standard Variax)? The Variax Model selection can be assigned to the snapshot controller like any other parameter you assign to snapshots. Select the Input block in a preset, view the Variax Model parameter, then push and turn the associated knob to assign the Model parameter to the snapshot controller. Select whatever different Variax Models you want in different snapshots. If you want to use the Variax Mags select that in the Input block.
