ColonelForbin
Need some help here; jam on Friday, going to let my buddy (the bassist) use my Helix for FX; he doesn't want to mess with amp modeling yet. Run parallel paths? Any good presets on Customtone? I will search up and make a quick and dirty fx only patch for him, probably on the fly there, but be curious if anyone else is already there! He is playing an Ibanez 5 string active bass into a Hartke amp head; 1x15 and 4x10 cab stack. Cheers!
GlennDeLaune
I just put one up for you. I use it for recording my bass tracks. It's pretty basic but it sounds great on my end. Search my name and you'll find it. I see I only have two up there. :-( Need to put some more up when i get the chance.
SymphonicDischord
Well here's a quick run through of a preset that I put together for my bass: LA Studio Comp -> Valve Driver (low gain, high level) -> split crossover (Cali Bass, ANGL Meteor) -> Elephant Man Delay -> HX Dual Cab (4x10 Rhino, 2x15 Brute) -> Room Reverb. With the split crossover I like to set it to 300hz, that way I get some good solid thump out of my low strings and the Cali Bass but can still get some nice articulation and definition with my higher strings/notes feeding the higher frequencies into the Meteor. Needless to say I keep the drive low on that amp.

This is an old tick that I do in my DAW to tighten the bottom up.
