Connecting Digitech Jamman Looper to Helix

Hello all,

I purchased a Helix last week (love this thing!) and I was wondering how one goes about connecting a Digitech Jamman to the Helix.

I would like to be able to create a loop with different guitar tones layered in it.

The Jamman has the Left & Right Mono Out jacks along with Left & Right Mono In.

If someone could give me some advice on how to hook this up I would be greatly appreciative.

Sincerely,

Hello Strat:

I have a Jamman hooked up to my helix (which, alas, is not in front of me).

But it's easy.

1.  Plug LEFT (mono) out on Jamman into Helix RETURN 1.

2.  Plug LEFT (mono) in on Jamman into Helix SEND 1.

NOTE:  Helix send 1 and return 1 are next to one another, not on top of one another like you'd expect.

3.  Insert a send/return block (I have mine at the very end of the chain) into your preset.

You'll be using the buttons on the Jamman to loop, not the Helix.

Voila!  Unlimited length loops that you can save.

In not a Looper owner, but wouldn't be east to go  Left / Right 1/4 out of helix into Left / right in on looper, then Left / Right out to on Looper to PA?

That way anything heard can be looped, any preset can be used, and not glitches or gaps in the loop when changing presets.  Helix can even be rebooted while loop continues.

Just wondering.

I'm sure that would work just as well/better.  Many ways to skin that cat.
