willc
It was probably mentioned several times but I don't find it in release notes. When Migrating from older Versions (Updater, Drivers, Editor, Firmware etc.) to the newest Status, (in my case from Drivers V1.78, FlashMemory 2.01.0. Helix Editor 2.01, Line 6 Updater 1.09) which sequence of updates do I have to perform? a. ALL updates in the sequence of their issue b. just the latest Versions each (but then still in which sequence updater, Drivers, Editor, FlashMemory) c. another sequence? Thanks

willc
You can just run the latest update procedure. Thanks very much zooey for answering while I was just editing my question. I still wonder, whether the sequence of Updater vs Drivers vs Editor vs FlashMemory matters?
zooey
Not to be curt, but if you just follow the instructions you should be ok.
silverhead
You just need to install the latest package - it is comprehensive and includes all features and fixes from earlier releases. The instructions describe the correct installation sequence and ensure that you will have compatible versions of everything. To begin: - Download the EDITOR package first (not the firmware). To get this, select HELIX in the middle (Software) field of the Downloads page; do not select Helix in the leftmost (Products) field. The following page lists the detailed installation instructions. READ THEM FIRST. As the instructions prescribe, before downloading and installing the editor, follow the pre-installation instructions to make proper backups. Avoid using the bundle backup - backup individual setlists. - Now use the Get Download link at the bottom of the instructions panel. During installation of the editor package, make sure you use the check marks to also install the driver and the Line 6 Updater program. If you are very experienced with the process and really know what you're doing you can choose to not install any of these. By default, install them all. - Connect the Helix device and run the Line 6 Updater program. Continue to follow all post-installation instructions, including restoring your backups.
