Capacitance touch question

Hello folks,

In the manual for the LT it says: "Footswitches: The capacitive, touch-sensitive footswitches have colored LED rings that tell you the current state of the assigned block or item. While in Stomp footswitch mode, touch (but don't press) a footswitch to quickly select the assigned block or item. Touch the switch repeatedly to cycle through multiple assigned items."

Mine don't work in Stomp mode (when pressing and holding MODE switch) but they do work in Signal flow view and performance view. Any idea if something is wrong?

Cheers :)

If you're holding mode you're in foot edit mode, not stomp mode. Press stomps to select the block, then it shows the parameters to edit by foot.

Just normal press Mode (not press and hold) to get to stomp mode from preset or snapshot mode.

Hope this helps!

I have the Helix, not the LT but I suspect the behavior is similar. The touch capacitance does work when you are in stomp mode to switch between assigned pedals.  I think tmuka probably nailed it, you just want to click and release, not press and hold, to go to stomp mode. Keeping the Mode button pressed down definitely interferes with the touch capacitance behavior and that may well be what you are seeing.
