geelongcats
I bought the pod xt live in 2004. I never really used it to its potential but I've started playing again. Line 6 won't let me rigister it to be able to use the monkey program. Is there any way around it besides buying the helix? Many thanks. phil_m
You don't have to have it registered to use Monkey. You can simply hit cancel when it asks you to register. At this point, registering probably isn't going to do any good for you or Line 6.
geelongcats
Thanks mate, I worked it out. My next question is I remeber you used to be able to dial in your settings/tones/effects via a computer connected to the POD. I assume it was using POD farm but it won't let me run it because of driver incompatibility. Do you know if there's a way around it? Thanks
phil_m
There were actually two different editors for the XTL - Line 6 Edit and Gearbox. Gearbox is the newer of the two, so I'd start there.

BillBee
When you say "no match" I guess you mean for your OS. If so, choose one from an older OS as new as possible. There has not been anything upgraded for L6 Edit or GB for a long time.
