mikebruno
Hi all!! My goal is to assign exp 3 as a volume control. So many ways to do it but on a wet dry wet setup it's more complicated. ( or not..?) The exp pedal has to control the level being sent to send1 preamp Soldano that goes to Dt50 and another send1 that goes from preamp jumped plexi to the same Dt50 and these are the dry center. ( Dt50 amp is mic'ed) But the volume of the wet L and wet R has to follow also the same volume curve! So another assignment on the XLR out to PA as for my L/R fx ( fed by two IR cabs) have to be controlled by the same Exp3 So 3 assignments. Hope it's clear ? But juste would like to have your thoughts on witch ways you guys think is best and above all the most simple one. Thanks!!
MonkeyXT
You can drop volume control blocks into the various spots you require, and tie them all to EXP 3 to work simultaneously - up to a maximum of what I assume would be 8 assignments to the one EXP, though I'm basing that on the function cap on a stomp switch or similar to control blocks/parameters. You appear to require 3 discrete volume blocks - 2 mono ones dealing with the preamp sends, and a stereo one to handle the wet L/R feed. You could in fact set independent minimum and maximum values for each instance, and they'll 'scale' to the movement of the Expression 3 pedal controller. You would just need to set up the volume blocks, then for each one, go into the menu/controller assign panel and make certain they're assigned to EXP3 as their controller. At that time you can set your desired min/max etc. Hope I haven't missed something here; it's early still for me today...
