brywool
Hi- One of the bands that I'm in needs to trigger a 30 sec audio file. Is it possible to load that into the HD500 and then trigger it?
pfsmith0
Yes, record the audio file with the looper (1/2 speed gives you up to 48sec of recording). Then, while the looper mode is engaged, you can start/stop it as you see fit. However, I believe most (if not all) of your FX buttons are restricted to looper functions. silverhead
Note that the recorded loop will be erased when you power off the HD500. You will have to record it again at each gig, which implies you have the audio with you on some external device. An alternative would be to connect the external device to the HD500 using its cd/MP3 input. You would start/stop the audio playback as desired using the external device.
