Tehzim
I tried to search the forum for this but I couldn't find anything. If I want to use an external tuner instead of the Helix internal tuner, how do I do that? Do have to put it before the Helix or in an FX loop? I was under the impression there was a place to plug it in that would let you bypass the Helix tuner but use the same floor switch. Thanks in advance.
pbatts
The easiest way would be to place your tuner before the Helix. If you have a favorite pedal or rack tuner and wish to use it instead of the Helix tuner, connect Send 1, 2, 3, or 4 to your tuner's input and turn Knob 2 (Tuner Out) to select that Send. This way, every time you hold the TAP footswitch, Helix will automatically route the signal to your favorite tuner. It's amazing what you can find in the Owner's Manual
Tehzim
I've been reading the manual but honestly it's kind of overwhelming. I was trying to figure out which was the best way to use it. Thanks :)
pbatts
Agreed, it is a little overwhelming. I find myself going back to it regularly, to find stuff. The search function works great.
Tehzim
I searched but all I found were threads about the tuner needing improvement. Gonna snuggle up with the manual this afternoon tho.

Tehzim
I didn't even know you could do that. Man I have a lot to learn.
