Point a newbie in the right direction

So yesterday I was visiting a friend and he recently got Helix Native and we played a bit around. I dig it, but since I don't know much about what sound to expect from what amp (manufacturer) I was struggling to find my tone.

But now I'm determined to take an extensive look with the 15 days trial version. And I was hoping that you could maybe point me in the right direction when it comes to amps and cabs before I start the trial version.

My homerecording setup is based on my Tech 21 VTDI. Yes, it's a bass preamp, but I love it on guitar. The VTDI is going for the Ampeg sound. So naturally the first amps I browsed on my pal's computer were the Ampeg bass heads. But they didn't get close.

I've uploaded samples of my sound here:

Please excuse the lollipop playing and cutting. This was the third run, because I've messed up the setup twice. So moral was low and I didn't care about the playing anymore :D

My signal chain here was:
Guitar -> Fuzzrocious Cat Tail (rat clone) -> Tech 21 VTDI -> TC Hall Of Fame (stereo) -> M-Audio Delta 1010LT (soundcard) -> Reaper (DAW)

First it's clean, moderate drive, maxed drive. Then the same three but with the HOF spring reverb.

At what amps and cabs should I have a closer look to get there? I think I could also get my hands on some ownhammer IRs just for trying out, if you think I can get closer with those.

I also felt like the Rat of the Helix doesn't touch the Fuzzrocious Rat clone. So I'd be glad if anything of the Helix comes to mind that might be closer to my Rat clone.
