How to change program on external fx pedal?

Hello .

Hope to find you good!

I am using Helix LT with Boss SY 300 Synth.

I wish to exchange the program numbers on SY when i chnage them in Helix.

For example when i am on Helix User 1 i wish to be in SY 300 User 32

and when I am on Helix user 4 i wish that SY changes to U 45.

 

I hope this makes sense. I did reseach for one hour how to do it.

The first thing you'll want to do is go to Global Settings>MIDI/Tempo and go to Page 2 there and turn MIDI PC Send off. That will make it so the Helix doesn't automatically send the default PC messages when you switch presets. Then you'll want to go to the Command Center as described on pg 47 of the LT manual. There you can set up Instant Commands with the appropriate PC you want to send for each preset. You can actually send out different PC messages per snapshot as well if you want. The Instant Commands are represented by the lightning bolt icons in the Command Center.
