gloria234
I having an issue with Helix and Logic losing "sync" after a few minutes. When I start up Logic everything is fine with about 6.9ms of latency. After a few minutes of playing or just downtime, the latency becomes 3-4 full seconds. I reset the core audio in Logic and it is back to normal but only for a few minutes then it's back to the huge delay. I just updated to OS X 10.13.1 and Helix 2.30 but the problem was there before and after the updates. Has anyone experienced anything similar? PeterHamm
I know this sounds weird but are you using more than one monitor? Logic messes up for me lately with two monitors.
amsdenj
I have no problems with latest High Sierra update in a 2017 MacBook Pro (Thunderbolt 3) using an OWS Thunderbolt 3 hub. I have found earlier Macs (e.g., 2012) have USB problems with Helix and needed to go through a hub on those computers too. The industry has struggled to settle on a long-lived interface standard. Hopefully Thunderbolt 3 will last longer than Thunderbolt 2 and we can move beyond FireWire, USB 1, 2 and 3. I highly recommend that OWS hub if you’re using a new MacBook Pro. gloria234
I am using one monitor with a Mac Mini i7 Quad Core. The Helix is connected directly to the Mac.
