allengower878
Unfortunately I purchased a Spider 2 150watt not realizing that there would be no support for it...Anyway the question is how many banks and patches does it actually have...can I create and save my own patches (more than the pathetic four that the channels provide) and if I can then how would I go about it please
TheRealZap
it only has 4 from the amp itself... some of the amps can change banks with the FBV shortboard giving you more... if you have one try it... if you don't have one you're stuck with just 4 anyway. allengower878
Thanks for that..ok I have the FBV express MKII.......will this work please ?
TheRealZap
the fbv express models cannot change banks... that will limit you to 4, what spider2 model do you have? some of the lower wattage ones are limited even with the shortboard. TheRealZap
you do get 32 presets with the FBV shortboard according to the manual: connect a Line 6 FBV Shortboard controller for channel switching, effects on/off control, wah/volume pedals, access to 32 more channel memories, a chromatic tuner, and tap tempo for delays. ----- manual here: http://l6c.scdn.line6.net/data/6/0a060b316ac34f059357c410f/application/pdf/Spider%20II%20User%20Manual.pdf

reallyrandy
Can I copy settings from one bank to another? I can figure out how. The manual is sparse.
