pipelineaudio1
The smart harmonizer, as far as I can tell, can't be placed between the amp and the cab, leading to severe munchinkinization compared to how you can set it in the Helix. It doesn't appear that I can move the EQ, nor put the smart harmonizer between the amp and the EQ. Do you have any tricks to making this thing sound better? pipelineaudio1
So I just stuck a Radial JDX in the FX loop. This thing is meant to take speaker level signals and convert them to line level, but it adds its own cab simulator to the line output. I changed the cab in Firehawk to "no cabinet" This made the smart harmony way, way way better. But honestly, the firehawks cabs really sound GREAT compared to this thing, it would only be necessary if using the harmonizer. Please tell me there's a hidden impulse response loader effect in the Firehawk I'm not seeing. That would make this unit EPIC!
