Can The PODHD500 Be Powered Through A USB Powerbank?

Hello everyone,

So, I'm thinking about getting a battery powered setup, which will include a battery powered portable PA speaker (aka Behringer Europort MPA40). The problem is about the multi-fx pedals I currently use.

I have the PODHD500, and the RC-50 Loop Station pedal. I understand that I might not be able to power the loop station (and this forum isn't the Boss forum) and the PODHD500.

However, I was wondering, is it possible to power the PODHD500 with a USB Powerbank?

I've looked into several cables that could "step up" the electrical current from a 5v powerbank to 9v (aka guitar pedals), but I"m not sure if this could power the PODHD500 effectively.

Here are the options I've looked in, please let me know what you think, and if this is even possible. The reason I would like to do this is so I could easily busk wherever I want using effects from the PODHD500:

Seems doable to me...The Powerbank looks like the way I would go if it were me...The real draw is about 1.5A, so the 2.4A MAX seems like a decent fit...However, because you would be doubling the voltage, the mAh will be a bit less that 50% of the rating of 10000 mAh...So you might be looking at perhaps 3 hours of time on a full charge with the HD alone...
