How can I upload patches to my Helix LT, and how can I install updates on it?

You need to go here:

https://line6.com/software/

Choose your Helix from the Left drop down menu and your operating system on the right drop down menu. Click on GO

Scroll down and download and install the Line 6 Updater 1.14.

Once you install that, close the program. Then connect your Helix LT USB to your computer. Then open up the Line 6 Updater. It should recognize your Helix LT. Just follow the instructions. They've made it super easy. You might need to also download the HX Edit 2.60 if the Updater doesn't prompt you to download that. That's the program you use to back-up and load presets.

Hi!

I bought a Line 6 Helix LT. It came with an USB which contains the Manuals in PDF format, but It doesnt contain the Helix Editor, or any other sofware for letting me edit or upload patches or downloads to the helix. How can I do it?

Thanks!

Hi Chris,

Glenn’s answer is correct, upto a point.

The guys at Line 6 have supposedly made it easier for everyone, but as usual there is a great deal of confusion after a new Firmware update.

You need to go to the link that Glenn provided, but select HX Edit from the All Software and your OS on the dropdown menus. When you install HX Edit it will also install the Line6 Updater v1.14 and any other drivers etc., that you may need. Once the you have the Editor installed please go to this thread and follow the instructions in the first post from phil_m.

Datacommando is 100% correct.  If you try to only download the Updater it won't work.  You need to download HX edit first and the Updater comes with it.  Everything should go very smoothly after that.  Once you do that let us know and we can tell you how to upload and download patches.  It's all very simple!
