SamGuitar91
Hey guys, I need to apply some contact cleaner to the footswitches since the bottom row has become pretty unreliable. I unscrewed the back of the unit, and have access inside now. The issue at hand are the screws along the side of the footswitches. Would these be easily taken out with a socket wrench? I don't have one in my current tool kit, and am debating this one from Amazon, will these do the trick?: https://www.amazon.com/40-Pieces-EPAuto-Reversible-Ratchet/dp/B01LZEMYOD/ref=sr_1_3?s=power-hand-tools&ie=UTF8&qid=1534127456&sr=1-3&keywords=socket+wrench

codamedia
HD500? The only purpose of the footswitch is to hit the "micro switch" on the PCB below it. There is nothing to clean in the switch itself. If anything needs cleaning, it's the micro.... and IMO, it would be easier to replace it.
