You have a valid license but you must authorize this computer to use the software...repeats over and over

Hi there,

 

I own Helix Native and it's been working great in Ableton Live. I updated Ableton Live to v10 and now whenever I try to use the latest version of the Native VST2 plugin (1.6) I get the following window.

 

 

Each time I hit the "authorize this computer: button, it looks like it connects but the "You have a valid license but you must authorize..." repeats and the window remains.

 

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin but it doesn't work.

 

I'm pretty stuck now since there's no way I can use the plugin.

 

Any advice from Line 6 gurus?

Have you tried reinstalling the plugin? Or perhaps deauthorizing and then reauthorizing? When all else fails, open a support ticket.

Okay, I found a workaround that worked. I also own Propellerhead Reason. I ran Reason, created a new track, added Helix Native and it worked. Ran Abelton Live again and the plug in worked without taking me around and around the authorization loop.

 

Really weird. But hey, I'll take it!
