Helix FX how to add more than 6 effects?

Hi team!  Not sure how to add more than 6 simultaneous FX on the Helix FX pedal.  Page 29 of the manual says Signal Flow "lets you assign multiple effects to the same switch, and even allows for toggling between two or more effects" Read the manual but it's not clear after creating the first 6 FX how 1) to add/select others when all the slots of the board now already have FX displaying and 2) how to toggle between the additional ones from a single switch- am I missing something in the manual or am I just on drugs and missing the obvious?  And is there a preset that already has this setup to get me started?  Thanks for your help!

To go to Signal Flow view, hit the menu button (the three horizontal lines), and you'll see Signal Flow above the one footswitch. Hit that, and then you'll see all nine blocks in the lower three scribble strips. To navigate from one block to the next, use the big knob. Push down on the big knob to load effects in the block. In the scribble strip above FS2, you'll see the bypass assignment. You can select whichever footswitch or expression pedal you want to turn the block on and off.

 

I should also add that if you use the editor, HX Edit, you'll always see the entire signal flow at all times, so that's probably faster for doing this sort of editing.
