Jasonbrianmerrill
...for the Memory Man, I assume. I am trying to figure out if I want to get rid of my Memory Boy. The Elephant Man sounds GREAT! However, the Memory boy and actually the Memory man have some features that I'm not sure exist in the Elephant Man. For instance, there is a way to change the subdivision of the notes on the Boy and the Man, so it interprets your taps a certain way, etc - you can get triplets, etc.... Is there a way to make that happen with the HX effects? What about the "hold on the tap tempo to make the feedback ramp up" trick? I guess that would be impossible without an expression pedal/switch, no? Might make me hold on to my memory boy, or get a memory man T-550. phil_m
You can set the delay time or pretty much any time-based parameter of any effect that uses them to a note value very easily. Simply press down on the knob for that parameter and it will switch to a note value. The HX offers many more choices for the specific subdivision than the Memory Boy or Memory Man pedals do. As far as increasing feedback, yes, you can assign it to a footswitch or expression pedal. You can also assign feedback to a snapshot controller and change its value per snapshot if you want.
