so I want to record from stomp to reaper.  I want to listen to my output on my laptop on my headphones.  I installed the driver from line 6 and Asio.  when in reaper I set asio up and even set up the headphones, but when I go to listen to what I am playing I see the meters rise so there is sound comming in, but I am hearing nothing in my headphones, even if I record I do not hear the playback.  I do have the track set to monitor on, and I know the headphones are working in the laptop.  Help...

When you're using Helix with ASIO, Helix is your sound card, not your computer. You may need to change some settings in Globals (I have the Helix Floor), but It's probably setup by default for the output from your DAW to bypass Helix processing. This way, with the DAW Track Monitor button OFF, you hear the recorded DAW tracks playing back, and your guitar signal is direct, no latency.

nope I ended up fixing it, in Reaper I have both asio stomp HX and Asio4all.  I have to use the asio4all and go in to configuration there I can set up for it to use hx for inputs and my laptop for output.  that worked!!!
