morgan_estill
Getting this message while attempting to import OwnHammer 412 RECT IRs in groups or individually: HX Edit was unable to import IRs in this set due to following errors: -8209 - Service does not support the requested function. Thoughts?
phil_m
You need to download and install the latest version of HX Edit.
morgan_estill
I had downloaded and installed v2.70 prior to attempting to import any IRs. Sorry I didn't mention the version.
morgan_estill
I discovered the problem. I had downloaded the other half-dozen Line 6 software and installed them, while missing the firmware update to the HX Stomp itself. I'm not sure why they don't have all of the functionality of the 4 or 5 program in either a single program, or a single download. Too many pieces of software to track down, download, and update. Well, if you download and run the installation package for HX Edit, that gives you everything you need. It includes the latest version of HX Edit, Line 6 Updater and the latest drivers. morgan_estill
Strangely, it did not. I did look for the Line 6 Updater after installing the package for HX Edit and it wasn't there, downloaded it, installed it and now I'm good to go. Thanks for the help! I appreciate your time.
