Terry1985
Hello, I'm new to the digital world and I was wondering if the HX stomp could be used with a standalone power amp (or through the power amp of a tube amplifier) to power a traditional guitar cabinet. I have a Mesa Boogie JP-2C and a EVH 5150 III LBX going into a Mesa 2x12 rectifier cab and I was curious if I could use either of the two as just a power amp for the HX stomp. Thanks in advance to anyone who can provide information/help.
foxmeister
Short answer: Yes. Longer answer: Yes, you run the Stomp into the FX return so that it bypasses the preamp in your tube amp. Even longer answer: You can also switch between sending into the front of your amp and the FX return, so you can still enjoy your tube amp if you wish. Terry1985
Awesome! Thank you. I just wanted to make sure before I made the purchase.
MusicLaw
And, of course, the HX Stomp works wonderfully fed into a powered FRFR Monitor, powered Studio Monitors, or Line 6 PowerCab/PowerCab+.
