owensoundstudios Posted January 14, 2019 Share Posted January 14, 2019 After a nightmare of updating, the Helix is at the latest and the variax is at the latest. All my other varies work fine with Helix, but the JTV89 just stopped lighting up. It works fine with the HD500, the selectors change in the apps, but it flat out refuses to light up (other than a quick blink at the start). This all stated when I started doing updates. Rolling back has not solved anything. and the HUGE annoyance not being able to update the Variax through the Helix, is yet another in a long line of frustrations with my Line 6 Equipment. owensoundstudios Posted January 14, 2019 Author Share Posted January 14, 2019 Here's what the issue was: The selector switch ws so compressed into the guitar that it wouldn't actuate. I finally pulled the pot up and the thing lit up. Everything is fine now. Just have to come up with a way to keep the selector higher.
