jrosshelix
While testing out a Truetone 1-Spot with my HX Stomp, I got my adapter plugs mixed up and accidentally plugged it in with reversed polarity. I realized what I did a split second after I turned on the power switch and nothing happened. Thankfully, my HX Stomp seems to be working fine. I'm using it with the original adapter again. I'm guessing there's some sort of reverse polarity protection circuit built in? That was a close one.
Kilrahi
I think you'll be fine, but there is a small risk you opened a dimensional portal into another realm. If Gozer the Gozarian appears run like hell, if she asks you if you're a God, say, "YES!"
CraigGT
That sounds like a lucky escape, a friend plugged 12V AC into a keyboard that wanted 12V DC, I ended up changing about 12 chips and transistors, it was a hell of a job. I built some protection into that too! Craig
