aaronbokelmann Posted March 23, 2019 Share Posted March 23, 2019 Everytime I plug in my Pod hd500x, my FS5 button refuses to work. I am unable to change my tone to the channel no matter what I do. I can use the preset dial and select my tone on that button, but if I change to a different tone. That button stops working. I also notice that usually when I plug the pedal in, I always get a message on the screen saying assign footswitch ... When I push a button, I end up messing things up because it reassigns my footswitch. Is this normal or does anyone have any ideas how to fix this? Just about the only thing you can do yourself is a factory reset, and/or reinstalling the firmware and see if the problem goes away. If not, then it's a hardware issue. If you go that route, make sure you backup your patches first. Or open a support ticket and see what L6 advises if you don't want to mess around with it yourself.
