I need help with the helix computer software. it wont let me download patches. when i open the helix app it doesnt open the edit side only the presets skinny window. i also cant register my product online it gives me this error code " ESN could not be verified. silverhead Posted April 5, 2019 Share Posted April 5, 2019 You must be using a very old version of the editor, which was named simply Helix. The current editor is a program called HX Edit; the latest release is v2.71. I suggest you use it, which also requires you to use the latest version of the Helix firmware - also v2.71. To upgrade everything: - use the skinny window in your current editor to make backups of any presets or setlists that you want to continue to use. - download the HX Edit v2.71 software from the downloads page of this website. - run the downloaded file which is an installer file. It will install the latest versions of the HX Edit program, the driver, and the Line 6 Updater program. - run the Line 6 Updater program and follow the on-screen instructions to update the Helix firmware. - reload your saved setlists/presets using HX Edit Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
