vccguitar
Hoping somebody has been here before and solved this. I'm setting up an expression pedal to control volume. This works great as long as I keep my Global Setting>Pedals set to Preset. My preference would be to have this set to Global, so that if I have the expression pedal half way and then change presets the volume of the next preset won't jump. What I can't solve is that if I choose to run the HX without an expression pedal all my presets have their volume block set to zero. So useless as a stand alone unit. Is there anywhere to set the global expression position the way you can save it in presets? Thanks for any tips.
phil_m
Try going to Global Settings>Pedals and setting the polarity for whatever EXP jack you're using to Invert and see if that helps when the pedal isn't connected.
vccguitar
Good idea! That did the trick in terms of getting sound out of my patches without my expression pedal plugged in, however when I plug it in it now operates backwards; toe down is decreasing volume. Yeah, you'll have to change the setting for the times you're using it with the pedal plugged versus without, but that's not that big of a deal. vccguitar
True, this is a great and fast workaround. Thanks!
