damien76
THis is the first time I am using Line6 products. I got a vetta2 + fbv longboard (both 2nd hand). It was really fun meddling with thousand and thousands of settings. However, I noticed that when i change channel, there is an obvious lag. Can anyone advise me whether this is normal? I tried to google and did a reset of the floorboard. The same lag still happens.
phil_m
There is a slight audio gap when changing presets on the Vetta. It doesn't have anything to do with the foot controller. It's just that when you switch presets, you're essentially telling the processor to stop doing one thing and start doing another. So there's a slight gap. If it bothers you a lot, you can compensate by putting a delay pedal in the effects loop.
damien76
Thanks Phil. That means I cannot use the longboard for "live" playing unless I am using just a single preset/channel

Lots of guys have used the Vettas live over the years with the longboard, so I'd say it's not impossible. I think you just need to time your preset changes accordingly.
