Arravara Posted September 3, 2019 Share Posted September 3, 2019 Hell-o dear Helixies ! We recently purchased a Helix rack and wanted to use a Engl z12 midi pedal board with it. It seems to work somehow but we can't assign certain presets or snapshots to the FootSwitches. Is it even compatible with the helix? In the manual it says that the helix works with midi pedal boards I know, the easiest solution is probably to just purchase the helix control pedal board.. but .. You know.. Why not use what we have? rd2rk Posted September 3, 2019 Share Posted September 3, 2019 The Z12 sends only Program Change messages. You can use it to change presets, but that's about it, as Snapshots are recalled with CC#s. Even then, you won't be able to load presets in any but the current Setlist, as the Z12 does not send Bank Change messages. Sorry, should've got the Helix Control board.
