tim_george
Hi, I'm new here, and a complete novice... I have an old Line 6 TonePort UX1 that I bought many years ago. I just dug it out of storage and want to try and use it to run a guitar or bass through my iMac, which is running the latest version of OS X Mavericks. What's the easiest way to do it? Is it even possible, or is the gear too old? I don't want to record any audio necessarily, just get the thing working so I can hear guitar in my headphones... Can I use Garageband? Or any other software? Thanks for any help!
Triryche
download newest Monkey here http://line6.com/software/ Run the Monkey to update eveything. Some user are currently having issues with Mavericks. Check out this link for a possible work around if you have crackling or popping issues. Seems like this may be a Mac issue with their Fusion drives. https://discussions....772261#23772261
tim_george
Awesome, thanks for that. Got it working straight away, downloaded latest updates and the bass works through GarageBand. Perfect!
