bapurvis
Any ideas on how to set hd500 so that exp pedal can alter pitch by a tone?
NucleusX
What exactly do you mean by "alter pitch by a tone" Do you mean just standard pitch-shifting or ?
silverhead
I suspect he means a tone vs. a semi-tone - in other words a 2-fret pitch alteration. Try using the Pitch Glide FX (under Filter models). Assign the expression pedal as its controller, and set the min/max range according to the desired pitch alteration range. For instance, if you want to use the pedal to raise the pitch by a full tone, set min to 0 and max to +2.
bapurvis
Yes Uber Guru, that is what I am looking for. I will give this a go. I as watching a lesson by "Jennifer Batten" where she uses this to drop chords, extend the fretboard a pitch and bend while two hand tapping.
