HD Stomp External Switch. Unable to Assign FS4?

Hi

 

I cannot get the Stomp’s FS4 button assignment to talk to any switch I have! I tried with the Mosky dual switch, TC-Helicon switch 3, and Boss FS-6. I tired several TRS cables. Only FS5 works. For instance, If i set F4 to All Bypass and FS5 to the Tuner, only the tuner works. If if swap the assignment, FS5=All Bypass will work, but tuner will not. Stomp is v 2.82. Using the Line 6 power supply. No other Effects Loop connected. First time I'm adding on a switch, or at least trying to.

This is happening with even New Presets where i have not assignments

 

Any ideas on what could be happening?

Did you go to Global Settings>Preferences and on Page 2, set EXP/FS Tip to FS4? It's set to EXP1 by default. EXP/FS Ring is set to FS5 by default.

Of course I did not do go into page 2...!

I greatly appreciate the quick tip and my issue is resolved.

 

Slowly learning the ins and outs of the Stomp.. and will deep dive into the manual again for some light reading. I'm sure what you suggested is documented.
