Rick_Enbacker
Hello, The HX Stomp seems like good value (the Helix is way too expensive for me), but sadly has no digital out. Im wondering if it is possible to plug the USB into a no-latency USB-SPDIF converter so that i can record without the pointless D/A-A/D conversions when using a standalone recorder (i use a Roland VS-2480). Thanks! All the best, Rick Enbacker
phil_m
In order for the Stomp's USB audio to work, it needs to be plugged into a USB host. Those USB to S/PDIF converters don't work that way. They're really just an audio interface designed to work with a computer.
Rick_Enbacker
Thanks Phil. That's what i suspected. Shame that Line6 didn't include a coax SPDIF out...would have been quite cheap, no converter required... I will look elsewhere.
