Is Using FX Sends Within Native Plugin Possible?

Hi all!

I have been getting acquainted with the Native plugin and was wondering if it is possible to use effects within Native as FX sends?

For example, instead of a reverb block where I only have control over the mix level of the reverb,  can I use the reverb like a typical send in a DAW? I would like the reverb to have it's own volume control so I can automate the reverb in and out. In a typical DAW send setup the signal would (unless otherwise changed) always flow to the FX send and one can automate the volume of the send. I would like achieve this within Native.

Is this possible?

Thanks for taking the time to read this and hope to hear from you!

Not quite sure I understand what you're wanting to do, but it sounds like you're making it too complicated. Just set up another track with it's own instance of Native and put the reverb block in that instance then create a send in your DAW to that track. Set the mix level for the reverb in Native to 100 and then you can control overall reverb mix in the track with the fader in the DAW. This is essentially how I would handle reverb for vocals or drums or whatever in a DAW.

Hey - thanks for your reply. I already have 3 or 4 instances open for various guitar parts so I am ideally trying to cut back on instances of Native if possible.

My wish is to use a reverb within an instance as a send - that means I have a guitar part playing and I would like to use a reverb block within the instance as a send - that way I can control and automate the amount of reverb. I hope that explanation is a bit more clear... In a normal DAW setup you create a reverb FX send and send stuff to it...I want to do that within Native if possible?

Not without creating another instance as I mentioned above, no. I mean, there's no real drawback for creating another instance. The CPU load depends almost completely on what you have active in that instance. So whether you have the reverb block in one instance versus another doesn't make much of a difference.
