RecycledSloth
This may be a stupid question but I was looking at the Classic Distortion and the Screamer models and I wondering since there real life counterparts (Tube Screamer & RAT) only have one tone knob. How should I adjust the added Treble and Bass Parameters on these models to follow how the actual pedals would react?
hurghanico
Good question.. Several guitarists add an EQ FX just after the overdrive/distortion effect to better sculpt the resulting distortion.. Line6 designers had the very good idea to add the post-EQ built in some FX blocks so you don't have to waste one of the available FX slots to add one. In regard to the bonus EQ settings, if you want the unadorned original behavior of the modelled FXs, the added EQ controls must be set to 50% as they are active (not passive), therefore their neutral setting is at 50%, half way. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ All about POD HD500/X help and useful tips
