betraying Posted April 24, 2020 Share Posted April 24, 2020 Hello I watched a lot of YouTube videos about the HX Stomp and decided to buy it yesterday, and I don’t know why, but it sounds bad in my hands. I tried to repeat the sound of some guy from YouTube, and the result is very different. Does anyone know what could be the problem? (Sorry for my English). rd2rk Posted April 24, 2020 Share Posted April 24, 2020 You just bought a very complex digital device. Do you REALLY expect to master it in a couple of hours? I sure didn't! Keep at it. The sounds are in there, you just have to learn how to find them. Something that new users often overlook is that it's only going to sound as good as the audio playback system that you're listening to it through. Many of us have been through a long process of discovering what playback system works best for us. After trying Desktop Monitors (Rokit6), FRFR (HR FRFR112) and a tube combo (Tweaker 15/112) through the FX Loop return, I'm currently quite happy with my Powercab 112+. YMMV.
