Bone_Chance
I'm convinced that the Pod Go is a definitive upgrade on the HD500 series sound and convenience-wise.. But for those who have used the HD500 extensively are there any drawbacks to the Pod Go? The HD500 had so much functionality if you were willing to go down the rabbit hole... Anyone fancy chipping in with a list of points/differences? Thanks
spaceatl
I used POD HD for over 10 years and I have moved the GO. Things I miss Dual Chains (dry/wet and dual amps) extra FX blocks That's really it and it's not that big of a deal. HD would get DSP limited on those hard core patches but I can work around these limitations as they were not core to what I use 99.9% of the time. The AMP OUT is really something I use a lot and am so glad it has true dual mode outputs.
Digital_Igloo
I've mentioned this before, but the real successor to POD HD500X is Helix LT. POD Go is something different entirely.
