SiWatts69
Is it possible to create a stereo pair on the 1-12 inputs? I can't see a way of doing it but would like to. We're going to start running an XY pair of overhead condensers on drums and I would ideally like to be able to set them up identically, albeit panned L/R but I can't see an easy way of doing it. When we plug in to 1/4" inputs 13+14 or 15+16 we're prompted to make a stereo pair but not on XLR inputs... which mics use! I could run the condensers into 15/16 (we're stereo pairing for keys in to 13/14) but then lose the phantom power so would need offboard phantom supply AND we lose the feedback suppression afforded us on 1-12. So... does anyone have a solution, or have I missed something obvious?!?
dboomer
The easiest way is to select a stereo preset such as stereo keys and modify it. There is a stereo overhead icon you can adding to it when you finish the preset.
SiWatts69
Thanks dboomer. I hadn't realised you could do it like that. I'd only seen 2stereo" presets with the jack icons. Anyhow, set up as per your suggestion and ready for next usage :-)
