Can you change HX snapshots with midi PC messages? I  use an old TC electronics G system which has limited midi function but is indestructable and great for drunks at the front of stage. Thinking about putting an HX stomp in the rack, but need to be able to to fully use snapshots . Don't wont the time lag issues that come with changing presets only.

I'm still not seeing the full picture here. In the page 48 example, what midi message is required to change from snapshot 1 to snapshot 2? Can I do this with a PC message, or is a CC message required?

The G system can send basic CC messages, but I believe I would have to tap dance to turn of the snapshot 1 CC message and then turn on the next. For me this isn't practical in a live situation.

You send a CC with a Value.

CC#69 with a Value of 0=Snapshot 1;Value of 1=Snapshot 2;Value of 2=Snapshot 3.

If you want to change snapshots via MIDI, that's how it's done.

There are small (not super cheap) MIDI switches that many use with the Stomp. Morningstar MC6 comes to mind, but there are others. Search this forum for "MIDI Controller".
