HowieZowie Posted October 4, 2020 Share Posted October 4, 2020 What do I do? Finally hunkered down to do a long overdue update to the Helix. I avoid them like a plague (no pun intended) because something always goes wrong. But, I have sessions and a gig this week and I know I really need to get my presets in order. Seemed to be going great - I walked away to grab a cup of coffee and for some reason while I was gone, my computer decided to update in the middle of my Helix update. SaschaFranck Posted October 4, 2020 Share Posted October 4, 2020 - Shut down HX Edit. - If you are on Windows, reboot or open task manager to kill the HX Edit service (which will still be running in the background for no good reasons...). - Download the update as individual flash files. - Open the Line 6 Updater. - Perform the update there, using the downloaded flash files.
