zappazapper
Does anyone know what the latency specs are on the Helix LT? Specifically the loops. I'm experimenting with multi-amp setups, using both my Boogie preamp in the loop (4CM) and Helix models, and there's phase correlation issues, I'm guessing because there's some amount of latency that comes with using the loop. I figure if I knew what the latency specs were I could run a delay on the Helix models to make them line up a little better.
phil_m
The loops go through a round of D/A-D/A conversion, so each one adds about 1.5ms of latency.
zappazapper
OK I answered my own question. Used Reaper and this great JSFX plugin called Stereo Alignment Delay by Geraint Luff and what I'm getting is about 1.8 ms, polarity inverted. The inverted polarity might be something my amp is doing. zappazapper
85 samples. Is there a delay on the Helix that let's you set the time in samples? XD
zappazapper
Can't do a 1.8 ms delay time. So I did 2 delay blocks, one with a 1 ms delay time, one with a 0.8 ms delay time. Inverted polarity on merge block. Sounds awesome.
