Hi All,

Quick question -

Im running Helix Native into a Behringer UMC204HD - its all up and running sweet as in input 1 of 2 into FL Studio - sounds great through my monitors ...all good...so far ....(monitors are output from the UMC to Left & Right)

Seems I cannot listen to any other source of audio at the same time as when im using Helix ....

Example - watching an instructional video in VLC Media Player ....while FL Studio and Helix Native running fine .....I have zero audio from the VLC Player ...? any clues as to why ?

thanks in advance!!

Paul

Hi Paul,

Sorry for the delayed response, but I have only just seen your post. Not many.visitors In this forum.

Anyhow, you don’t say what your computer system is, but because you mentioned FL Studio, I will guess you’re using  a PC running Windows. I’m Mac based  using Logic Pro and a Helix Floor unit as the audio interface, although I also have a Behringer UMC204HD as a spare backup unit.

My guess is that because you have FL using the UMC204HD for audio in and out, the rest of you system needs to be configured to use the Behringer to process any other audio from the PC. IIRC, this can be set up using the control panel, then any other audio from YouTube, Spotify or whatever will be sent through you audio interface to your speakers.

Hope this helps/makes sense
