mitchcalvin00
I bought a HD500x yesterday and when checking the firmware is still in the 1. something. I saw that Line 6 is now up to 2.62. How can i update my firmware without using Monkey? I'm on a mac and its not compatible with my computer. Thanks!
pianoguyy
Call Apple and complain. Join the numerous class action lawsuits. LOL - of course, if they can't keep their "ecosystem" locked down, they become "open source" - which would make them Android or Windows. mitchcalvin00
If there’s no way to up date it I guess I’m taking it back to guitar center sadly :(
pianoguyy
Or, you could borrow someone's computer to do it. Public Libraries even have public computers to make sure middle class white suburban kids can use Facebook without their parents' prying eyes - MY tax dollars at work. 262 is the last update. I don't mean latest, I mean last. So, you will only need to borrow it once. *I can see them giving one more update before they officially kill it off. But it wouldn't be any major changes. But, yes, if you are within the return Windows, big box companies will be happy to take your return. The credit card you used will even force them to do so if they object. Local Joe Mom and Pop neighborhood corner shops would first offer to let you use their pc.
DaemonSlayer
I use a Mac to update it. It’s not compatible with my pc. My pc has usb 3 no usb 2 apart from at front which use a hub. The Mac Pro is usb 2 so which Mac do you have? Was thinking about getting the newer Mac mini for work.
