Tiggermc1
Good day All Please help. I purchased Native last night and loaded onto my new Dell laptop. My DAW is Reaper and interface a Scarlett 2nd Gen 6i6, monitoring with headphones. I thought great, let’s start off by checking out the presets. Inserted new track, armed the track and added Native as the FX. After trying out every 30 odd presets Native turns off and all I hear is my dry signal. The only way I can continue is to shutdown Reaper and start the process over, starting from the last preset I have tried. Apologies if this problem has been discussed before. I couldn’t find anything. Am I missing something? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, If you have purchased Helix Native, and authorised your computer, it should function normally. As far as I’m aware there is no “time out” function for HXN, and depending on the “muscle” in your computer you can open as many instances of Native as you wish. I have not heard of this sort of thing happening, and it may be simply a glitch, as you don’t say that after installing Native you restarted your computer. This is always the best thing to do after adding a new plug-in, and sometimes it gets overlooked and then the next time you use the computer everything just works. Also check everything is setup correctly in Reaper. I’m a Mac jockey that prefers to use Logic Pro X, although I also have Reaper, Ableton, Studio One, GarageBand and Reason installed for troubleshooting some of the issues that pop up on this forum. Needless to say, Reaper and HXN perform as expected on my system. If this continues, and nobody else can provide a remedy, contact Customer Services to make them aware of the issue and see if they have a solution. Hope this helps/makes sense.
