themetallikid Posted January 22, 2021 Share Posted January 22, 2021 I got the new EMG Hetfield pickups installed into my guitar. Should only be a slight tone change from the pickups I had in there, but the guitar needed a fresh rewiring and such to be more solid. Normally I would cringe at a change like this, knowing the work I'd put in and would have to put in AGAIN to update my presets. Using core tones and then using those to create song specific presets with song specific effects and such. Although, with favorites...I can update my core tones, resave my favorites, and then simply go through my song library and just drop in the fave block where it applies.
