helix Stereo out into a mono PC112

Hi there,

I  use my Helix LT in studio session but I'll will use it in soon in Live performances.

Up to today I sent my Stereo setups through the HELIX Line XLR out  into a mixing table and PA and I use the stage monitors to hear myself .

The guy behind the mixing table is very happy with my sound !

But for me on stage, the monitoring sounds pretty Harsh regarding the guitar and there's not really an individual channel EQ for the returns of the mixing table.

So to solve this my idea was to use a PC112 as a front monitor and  using there for the HELIX 1/4  left (mono) output feeding de PC112 in FR mode to keep my sound as close as possible.

I understand it will sound  mono but my question is will I loose half of the power or will the left mono output take both signals ( R&L) and send it as a mono signal into de PC

FYI All my sounds are set with a stereo output behind the cab simulation, (modulations should be okay but what happens to the delays and 3 voice harmoniser with L/R separation? )

Regards

`Claude

L/Mono Out collapses the stereo signal to Mono. No you won't lose half the power. If you're using Multi as the Output Block, the XLR Outs will still be Stereo.

Obviously, stereo effects will now be Mono from the PC112, but with one cab, you can't really have stereo anyway, unless you have a PC212.

The Stereo effect of the PC212 is AWESOME!

Thank you very much 4 the quick and clear response rd2rk and yes of corse the PC212 looks and sound Awesome :-D

but I'm the kind of guy who's trying to consider all aspects of solutions just like 2x PC112 would be also a very smart solution also ( 2x for big gigs ans 1 for small ones ;-) )

Anyways thanks again for your help

Long live HELIX and Line 6 !
