moonmusic Posted February 23, 2014 Share Posted February 23, 2014 I sort of wish the video had the guy talking or text captioning what he was doing though you can get an idea despite the fast playback. Unfortunately, I'm not good with a soldering iron and would need to send my usb-broken HD500 to a service center. Charlie_Watt Posted February 23, 2014 Share Posted February 23, 2014 I would not recommend changing the USB chip yourself unless you have done this before. It's easy to ruin the board. Changing the connector is not that hard as it is through hole. You need a good soldering iron and a solder sucker to remove the solder from the holes.
