Sadly, I'm selling my Helix due to working so much in the box with Helix Native and other amp sims (and more importantly needing some funds for other purposes). I am planning on restoring it to factory settings once it is sold via procedures outlined here . I've got two questions that I'm pretty sure I know the answers to, but could use some confirmation to be sure: 1- If my firmware is up to date 3.01.0 before I do the factory reset, is it safe to assume that will remain in place after the factory reset? 2- If I've loaded some 3rd party IRs I assume those will be wiped off as well after factory reset? phil_m Posted March 18, 2021 Share Posted March 18, 2021 1. The firmware remains unaffected by doing a factory reset. 2. There are a few different factory reset options available. Some of them leave the IRs. If you want to clear them out, hold down FS9 & FS10 while powering up. That will reset everything and clear the IRs out.
