Problem With Line 6 Spider Ii Chorus Effect

Hi, goodnight.

Soooo, I was wondering if anyone of you guys or any Line Spider II users could help me.

Last year I bought a used Line Spider II 150watts combo for a very cheap price, I got it from a friend and got it in perfect conditions, I mostly use it as a "practice" amp, but I also used in most of my gigs, since I don't gig alot, but the problems is that about 2 weeks, the chorus effects after like 20 mins of playing, the chorus effects starts without me activating it and most of times it won't turn off, so I have to changue the channel and go back to the previous channel or turning it off.

It's not kinda of a big deal, because everything else works at perfection but yeah I wanna fix it in case I start gigging more.

I live in México, and that's a sorry for my bad english and if somebody knows the Line 6 support number from Mexico (if there's any) that would be great.

Greetings, hope you can help me :)

Hi There

I have a slimier problem every time I touch the master volume control the chorus switches on the only way to turn it off is to change the channel this is so frustrating and very expensive to fix. I have tried everything and can not find an answer to this problem besides replacing the mother board. will keep looking for a solution and post

sooooooooooo frustrated

If you play with it cranked the vibrations form the speaker is most likely moving the the chorus pot which engages it. If you can figure out how to tighten up the pot shaft somehow that may do the trick. Just must opinion here 'cause I don't own the particular amp you have but I have a Spider Jam and I think it's similar in this respect.
